Get in the festive mood with one of our Christmas dance workshops!
Here’s a fun example of our Christmas dance workshops in a grand performance!
We taught at a Primary School in South London for 4 weeks, and took years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 for their weekly dance lessons. We chose fun Christmas themed songs for each class.
They all worked so hard and we think they did an amazing end performance.
Our Christmas workshops aren’t religious and we try and steer away from using overly religious themes in the songs. We want to make our workshops very inclusive for everyone, no matter what their background or religion. So we focus on the festive time of year and use fun songs that make you want to dance.
We encourage people to dress up in a Christmas theme, although it’s not strictly necessary!
Our Zest teacher will be in a festive outfit to get you all in the mood.
If you have a particular song that you’d like us to choreograph for you, just let us know in advance. Or we will choose some really popular classic Christmas songs that you’ll all be singing along to.
We can run the workshops without an end goal, just so that the children get moving and express their creativity in the workshops. It’s nice to have a treat for everyone nearing the end of term.
Or we can lead up to a performance at the end of the day (or longer) with you. You can invite the rest of the school to watch, or even parents. Or we can create a dance for you to add into your school nativity or Christmas assembly.
The children feel a great sense of achievement when they perform, plus it’s fun to see your talented dancers in the school emerge and shine.
Get in touch if you’d like a Christmas dance workshop – and we can sprinkle some festive magic at your school….
Why not treat your pupils to a dance workshop? We are based in London but have teachers across the UK to bring our workshops to you.
