Visual art and dance go hand in hand, so we can create a piece of dance inspired by any piece of art you choose
Art is a fantastic stimulus for inspiring dance, and we would use Contemporary dance to teach this topic for you.
We can teach your dance workshops based on an artist you choose. Just let us know the artist you are studying and that can be the starting point for our dance.
Or if you have a particular piece of art in mind, let us know what you have chosen.
We can create the dance routine before we come to do your workshops, or we can all work together in the class and your teacher can work with the students to help them choreograph dances based on their chosen picture or sculpture.
Or we can also create a dance based on colour, light, texture and the movement in an abstract picture to inspire the dance.
We love teaching these creative workshops. Take a look at some of our blogs from when we have been into schools working with this theme:
Vincent Van Gogh themed dance day
Barbara Hepworth themed arts week
Take a look at the pictures on this page to see the inspiration we have used in past art themed dance workshops:
Why not treat your pupils to a dance workshop? We are based in London but have teachers across the UK to bring our workshops to you.
