Online dance for Senior Movers – pre-recorded videos and live online dance sesions
With care homes and groups for older people on lockdown at the moment, it’s just as important to keep our bodies mobile, healthy and stimulated.
So at Zest we wanted to provide a service of gentle exercise videos especially for Senior Movers, which care homes and groups for older people can access and enjoy.

- Professional and experienced teachers
Full length pre-recorded dance workshops
There is no substitute for having a facilitator there with you, but our pre-recorded lessons are the next best thing!
Until it’s safe to book workshop providers to come into groups and care homes again, Zest has created a gentle dance session which is pre recorded for you to follow along with and enjoy.
The pre-recorded video includes:
- Introduction to the different dance styles included
- A warm up
- A mix of seated and standing movement
- Different dance styles (Bollywood, 60’s dance and Line dance)
- Video lasts 30mins in total
You will get a private link to the video, so you can watch it as many times as you like!
Cost: The cost for the pre-recorded video is £35
Online live sessions
Our friendly, engaging and experienced teachers can do a live online class with you.
They last between 20-30mins – just let us know what would work best for you.
They can be in different styles of dance so let us know what you would like. Here are some ideas of what we can do:
- Gentle seated warm up
- Bollywood dance
- Creative Contemporary dance
- 60’s dance
- Line dance
- Musicals
- 1920’s dance
We send you a link for Zoom/Skype or any other online platform, or we can join yours if that is easier for you. This will be for a time slot that you request.
The participants are encouraged to follow along with the clear movement instructions with the dance teacher online.
Cost: The cost is £25 total for the live Zoom class

Although Zest has full personal liability insurance to deliver classes online, we cannot take any liability for any injuries sustained by those participating in the videos. So please be aware that participating in these sessions are at your own risk.
