KEY STAGE TWO DANCE

Our Key Stage Two Dance workshops are to further the knowledge of your students in more advance dance styles and techniques.

Our Key Stage Two dance workshops provide further knowledge to your students, in advance dance styles and techniques.

GCSE and A Level dance

You may want a GCSE or A Level dance workshop, or just a fun experience for your students, and Zest can offer this for you.

We have teachers who are experienced at running GCSE and A Level workshops. They can help with the set study, or group choreography or a specific dance technique.

Let us know your specific requirements and we can tailor the workshops to suit your group.

Health and Fitness

For KS2 students it’s important to get them up and moving with dance. Fitness and health is vital at this age, to form good habits. To get them off their tablets/phones/games consoles is always a challenge, but we find that as dance is a fun activity, it distracts them into doing exercise that they enjoy!

Music

Music plays a big part inspiring students, so we carefully choose the music we use in our Key Stage Two dance workshops to engage the participants. We ensure never to use music with inappropriate lyrics or themes.

Themes

There are infinite themes you could choose for your dance workshops.

History

Maybe you are studying a particular time in History? We can link the dance to loads of styles, from 17th Century Tudor, to 1920’s Charleston, to the swinging 60’s (and everything in between!)

Take a look at our dance through History page for loads more ideas.

Around the world

Or maybe you are studying a particular continent or country. We do loads of dance styles from all over the world that you can choose between.

Bollywood, African, Brazilian Carnival and Spanish fusion are really popular styles.

Treat your class

Or maybe your class has been working really hard so you want to treat them to a Street dance workshop? Street dance is a really popular style that all young people love. We use cool chart music that immediately engages the students. We teach a mix of all the latest Street dance/hip hop moves, with a little breakdance thrown in.
