Choreography dance workshops can be based around a theme you choose, or simply to help learn the techniques and ‘tricks’ used when making a dance.
Depending on the level of workshop you’d like, we can look into teaching you devises such as: call and response, canon, change of level, chance, repetition, ABA, improvisation, counter balance, motif, symmetry, and many many more.
If you have a particular piece of music you’d like to use, or are inspired by a painting or an abstract theme, please let us know. We love a choreography challenge and can provide you with a ready made piece of dance to teach your students. Or we can work together with your students to create a fantastic new work.
GCSE and A Level Dance
We have many years experience in choreographing set pieces for GCSE and A Level dance in schools.
We are used to choreographing to specific exam music, exact numbers of dancers and lengths the dances need to be, so tell us what you require. If you don’t have the time to teach your class the set study, are struggling with choreography for an exam, or have ‘dancers’ block’, let us know and we will help you to overcome it!
